How does voting work?
Each quarter, OPF asks each Partner to rank the recommended organizations based on his or her preference of the nominees. Organizations receive the following number of points based on how they are ranked by each partner:
| Partner Rank |
Number of Points Awarded |
| 1st |
7 points |
| 2nd |
4 points |
| 3rd |
2 points |
| 4th |
1 points |
| 5th |
0 points |
The organization with the highest point total receives the OPF grant for that quarter.
How to Vote:
Click "Read OPF Assessment" for each organization to review the assessment developed by the Poverty Working Group. Each link opens up a PDF with information about the organization, as well as a link to their website if you want more information. Once you've determined your ranking for each group, order them on the voting page to suit your preferences.
To do this, click and drag either the "1st/2nd/3rd/etc" row to re-order the organizations OR click and drag the organization name column OR the "Read OPF Assessment" column to re-order the organizations. Clicking on the logos will NOT allow you to re-order the organizations.
Once they're ranked in your preferred order, 1-->5, click "CAST MY VOTE", which will then take you to a confirmation page.
PLEASE NOTE--the nominees are NOT in a predetermined order. They're randomly placed and not meant to suggest any OPF-ordained order or influence your vote in any way.
